Install module
This module depends on flectra base module website_sale and on product_characteristics module of Jamotion GmbH, which will be installed automatically.
Configuration
Enable this feature by checking the box "Show in Webshop" at Sales => CONFIGURATION => Products => Product Categories and Attributes => Product Characteristics.
You can make the following webshop setting options:
- Show in Webshop: Show this characteristic on product details page
- Hide Label: Exclude characteristics values from filtering and displaying
- Website Label: Alternative name for use in matrix display
- Position: Next to the product picture or below as a separate tab
- Text Align: Adjust the alignment of characteristics values
- Filter in Webshop: Enable webshop filtering for this characteristic
- Filter Type: "Radio" for multiple selection, "Select" for single values
- Category Filter: Restrict this characteristic filter to specific category
Highlight product characteristics in the webshop
You can highlight specific characteristics by giving them a colored background (info: blue, warning: yellow, danger: red). This option is only available, when the characteristic is displayed in the right position.
Change the position
If you choose the position below, the characteristic appears in a tab below. The following example shows how you highlight a product feature and then move it down to a new tab “Characteristics”.
